The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for severe thunderstorms today July 1st and tomorrow July 2nd.
There is a low chance for a few strong to severe storms this afternoon and again through Thursday afternoon. Best chances this afternoon are along the TN/AL border. The best chances on Thursday will be for counties south of I-40.
